If you have binge-watched Severance season 2 and are on the lookout for more shows like the Apple TV+ series, we’ve got a few top recommendations for you.

With an IMDb rating of 8.7 and a 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes, Severance offers a thrilling sci-fi narrative, exploring themes of self-identity and free will in a dystopian office setting. It has been climbing the popularity ladder ever since its release in 2022. The much-anticipated season 2 ended in 2025 with a nail-biting finale.

The gripping series follows the employees of Lumon who go through a procedure called severance, due to which they possess no recollection of their personal lives during work and vice versa. Mark (played by Adam Scott), a Lumon employee, leads a team of severed workers. However, his life is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious new colleague, Helly (played by Britt Lower), as she questions the nature of the mysterious work they do here.

Created by Dan Erickson and Ben Stiller, Severance tackles not just workplace brutality but also political oppression and the exploration of the self through the cult-like dynamics of Lumon and its employees. As such, the mind-bending TV series, which is heavily inspired by Rod Sterling’s The Twilight Zone (1959-1964), joins the leagues of some extraordinary shows dealing with man vs tech and other poignant themes.

So, here are some of the highest-rated shows like Severance you must watch while waiting for season 3.
