MANILA, Philippines — Thirty couples exchanged vows in Pasig City on Valentine’s Day in a government-led mass wedding that was capped by a live surprise performance from Ben&Ben on Saturday.

The Kasalang Bayan, organized by the city government, turned the day into what city officials described as an unforgettable celebration for the participating couples, many of whom were joined by their families and close friends inside the venue.

Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto officiated the ceremony, leading the couples through their vows before formally pronouncing them husband and wife and ending the rites with the traditional “kiss the bride.”

Shortly after the ceremony, Ben&Ben appeared as a surprise guest and performed live for the newlyweds, serenading them with their latest song “Duyan” and well-loved tracks “Araw-Araw” and “Pagtingin,” as couples embraced and celebrated their first moments as married partners.

The city government said the Pasig City Kasalang Bayan offered a complete wedding package that included a ceremonial walk down the aisle, the mayor as officiant, a reception, and tokens from both the local government and the band, with the event mounted by the Office of the City Mayor in coordination with various city government offices.
