Kota Kinabalu: Sabah breached the 300 mark with an all-time high of 315 new Covid-19 cases, the highest recorded since March 30, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
He said Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 84 cases, followed by Tuaran (41), Sandakan (39), Putatan (26), Penampang (20), Tawau (20), Papar (16) and Lahad Datu (11).
“More districts have recorded a high number of cases,” he said in a statement, Friday.
Among districts recording an increase include Tuaran (+22), Kota Kinabalu (+16), Putatan (+11), Sandakan (+8), Lahad Datu (+7) and Tenom (+5).
“Only three districts recorded a significant decrease, namely Penampang (-18), Beaufort (-9) and Kunak (6),” he said.
Masidi said 309 out of 315 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was each recorded in category three and five while four cases were recorded in category four. No deaths or new clusters were identified.
