Kota Kinabalu: The 2nd Youth Badminton Championship organised by Keep Young Badminton Club (KYBC) was successfully held at the Juara Badminton Arena in Putatan recently.
A total of 324 players took part in the Under-11, Under-13, Under-15 aged group categories and the men doubles category over three-day of competition.

Club president Datuk Seri KY Mustafa, who was pleased with the positive response said the tournament was organised in line with the club’s objectives to help in the development of badminton at the youth level and also to discover new talents.
He expressed his gratitude to Sawit Kinabalu Sdn Bhd, the Youth and Sports Ministry, Suria Capital Holdings Bhd, Qhazanah Sabah Berhad, Benta Wawasan Sdn Bhd, Juara Badminton Arena and others for their support and also thanked his deputy and organising chairman Datuk Penyuki Matta and his committee, as well as the technical team led by Alfhonso Fiel for their hard work to ensure the success of the tournament.
