In a major enforcement action aimed at curbing unauthorised vending, the Municipal Corporation conducted a late-night drive against illegal ice cream vendors operating near roundabouts across the city.
The drive by the enforcement wing of the MC commenced at 10 pm and continued till 1 am. A total of 35 ice cream carts were impounded and challans issued to violators for unauthorised vending in prohibited areas.
