
LAHAD DATU: Marine Police Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) seized some 61 tonnes of palm kernels in a raid on an unnumbered premises at Jalan POIC, last Wednesday.
Sabah Region Four Marine Police Force Commander, ACP Mohd Nazri Ibrahim, said two men aged 39 and 48 were also detained in the raid.
The duo were caught while transferring the palm kernels from a lorry to a trailer.

The team also seized two lorries (without its tails), a trailer, two bulldozers, a bunker and 61 tonnes of palm kernels.
All the seizures were estimated to be worth RM2,001,500, he said.
“The case will be investigated under the Malaysian Palm Oil Board Regulations,” he added.
