Arsenal have managed to secure a deal for St Etienne defender William Saliba below the French club's asking price.
ASSE had been seeking 30m to sell the 18 year-old.
However, But! reports Arsenal will pay 29m for Saliba over six staggered payments. The defender has agreed terms over a five-year contract.
Arsenal also agreed to ASSE's demand that Saliba spend this season with them on-loan.
Tottenham had matched Arsenal's offer, but the Gunners clinched the deal over the weekend.
