
SANDAKAN: A total of 769 undocumented Filipino migrants were repatriated from Sabah as part of an ongoing immigration detainee deportation programme.
They were deported from the immigration depots in Papar, Sandakan, and Tawau via Sandakan Port using the MV Antonia 1, bound for Zamboanga City, Philippines, on Thursday.
Sabah Immigration Director Datuk Sh Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof said the group included 438 adult men, 140 adult women, 98 boys and 93 girls aged between three months and 73 years.

This brings the total number of undocumented Filipinos deported from Sabah under the programme to 4,762, contributing to the overall 5,620 migrants repatriated, with all having served their sentences and possessing valid travel documents.
