
KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Immigration Department has deported undocumented migrants from Pakistan and India this week through KLIA under its ongoing repatriation program.
A total of 12 Pakistan nationals were deported from immigration depots in Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, and Tawau between April 28 and May 1.
Additionally, Indian nationals were repatriated on April 29.

All detainees had completed their prison sentences and held valid passports to enable immediate deportation.
The department warned that legal action will be taken against employers or premises hiring undocumented foreigners, as well as individuals who violate immigration laws under the Immigration Act 1959/63.
