9 Covid deaths, 380 new cases recorded

Malaysia has recorded 36,892 deaths so far

SHAH ALAM - A total of 380 new Covid-19 cases including 11 imported cases were recorded on Tuesday.

According to Health Ministry (KKM) data on KKMNow portal, nine deaths were recorded with none being cases outside of hospital facilities or brought-in-dead (BID).

This brings the total number of deaths to 36,892.

Meanwhile, 11,412 active cases were recorded with 10,844 or 95 per cent individuals quarantined at home.

A total of 542 Covid-19 patients were hospitalised with 26 patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).

From that number, 11 patients were in need of ventilators.
