Inter Milan are making firm move for Chelsea fullback Emerson Palmieri.
After months of speculation, Tuttosport says Inter have decided on Emerson as their prime left-back transfer target for the summer market.
Inter now aim to open talks with Chelsea about a fee for the Italy international.
Interestingly, amid talk of Emerson having settled on personal terms with Inter last week, Blues manager Frank Lampard admitted he was in the dark over the reports.
“I'm not aware of the talks," said Lampard.
"What I am doing is focusing on the squad day to day. Those are questions we have to answer at the end of the season.
“I don't want to be swayed by rumour and gossip, so we'll keep working."
