Fenerbahce remain in talks with Arsenal for Mesut Ozil.
Fener haven't given up on bringing Ozil to Turkey for next season, despite the German's reluctance to give up his current contract.
Turkish media sources say Fener hope to negotiate a free transfer for Ozil with the Gunners and share the midfielder's final year of his deal. Fener would be willing to pay €3m of Ozil's €7m salary.
For his part, Ozil favours seeing out the final year of his contract, despite being on the outer of manager Mikel Arteta's plans.
However, Fener remain hopeful of convincing both the midfielder and Arsenal to accept their proposal.
