Everton are reviving their push for Lille defender Gabriel.
Everton have been chasing a deal for the Brazilian for much of the year, though the trail had gone cold since the Premier League restart.
Sky Italia says an agreement existed in January between the two clubs and Everton now wish to revisit the arrangement.
The Toffees are making their move amid claims Napoli have also asked Lille for a price for Gabriel.
It's reported Everton had agreed on a €25m fee with Lille over the New Year before pulling back from the deal.
