Manchester City are in advanced talks to buy French Ligue 2 outfit AC Troyes.
Le 10 Sport says Troyes are a step away from joining City Football Group's (CFG) global network.
CFG turned to Troyes after abandoning negotiations to buy out AS Nancy Lorraine.
It's suggested a deal for Troyes could be struck next week.
The likes of Samuel Grandsir, now of Monaco, and Huddersfield striker Steve Mounie are both former Troyes stars.
