Wantaway Barcelona star Lionel Messi is pushing to join Manchester City this summer.
That's according to Brazilian journalist Mario Bechler, who first reported Messi's intentions to leave Barca and also announced Neymar's move to PSG before anyone else.
Bechler says Messi wants to be reunited with his former Barca coach Pep Guardiola at City.
Other sources claim Messi and Guardiola have already been in contact about the move, with the Argentine only formally making his intentions known on Monday.
While he has interest from Inter Milan and PSG, Messi has been convinced about moving to City by Guardiola.
However, there's still much to do for City to sign Messi, with Barca adamant he must see out the final year of his contract.
