Atletico Madrid are moving for Botafogo striker Matheus Nascimento.
The 16 year-old has been spotted by Atletico scouts this year.
Mundo Deportivo says Atletico have approached Botafogo for information about Matheus Nascimento.
Matheus Nascimento was recently promoted to the professional squad at Botafogo.
At the moment, Atlético has only raised an initial query about the youngster, who already stands out amongst the Brazilian players of his age group.
Atletico would seek an option for Matheus Nascimento with the aim of bringing him to Europe in 2022 when he is 18.
