Barcelona signing Francisco Trincao is reluctant to be compared with Luis Figo.
Figo originally left Portugal for Barca before his controversial move to Real Madrid.
Asked about his countryman, Trincao said: "Figo is very good but I'm here to make my story and I hope I improve it."
The former Braga starlet was also asked about Lionel Messi and news of his transfer request.
He stated: “I have not spoken with (coach Ronald) Koeman yet. What I want is for Messi to stay, but it is something that I cannot answer. We'll see what happens."
