Kota Kinabalu:
Former Chief Minister Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat has said he decided to return to politics not because he is disgusted by politicians who jump parties but by the increasing presence of illegal immigrants in Sabah. Chong (pictured, right) said Sabah is increasingly becoming a dangerous place because of the scourge and eradicating it will be part of LDP's agenda if wins in the 16th state election and takes over the state government. "The Kadazandusun and Murut community, whom we took pride to have, were previously the majority in Sabah, but have now become a minority," said the former LDP president.

"And our Muslim Sabahan friends may also end up becoming a minority in the near future, like our KDM community, if nothing is done about it." He said LDP is no longer a component of Barisan Nasional or any other pact and will contest on its own.
