98 new Covid-19  cases in Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 98 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, bringing the tally to 1,769.

The cases were detected in Semporna (48), Tawau (34), Lahad Datu (5), Kota Kinabalu (4), Penampang (3), Kunak (2), Putatan (1) and Papar (1).

The Bangau-Bangau cluster registered 46 cases involving there foreigners, the Benteng LD cluster 39 new cases involving 14 foreigners, the Pulau cluster two cases and the Buang Sayang cluster one case.

Forty-six recovered Covid-19 cases were recorded in Tawau (35), Lahad Datu (5), Tongod (5) and Semporna (1), bringing the cumulative total to 869.

There are 888 active cases still warded, to date, at designated hospitals throughout Sabah.
