TAMBUNAN:
Yayasan Sabah Director, Datuk Haji Jamalul Kiram bin Datuk Haji Mohd Zakaria presented the Yayasan Sabah Secondary Scholarship and face masks to students in three schools in Tambunan. The schools are SMK Tambunan, SM St Martin and SMK Nambayan. Students in other schools in various districts in the State also received similar assistance.The programme on Wednesday is a significant component in Yayasan Sabah Group’s educational assistance, especially in rural areas. Each year, Yayasan Sabah Group’s offices, through its Interior Division, East Coast Division, and West Coast Division, disburse financial aid to students. Through such assistance, Yayasan Sabah Group is able to contribute to students’ academic well-being and reduce the financial burdens of their parents. It is in line with its role in supplementing and complementing the activities of the government, especially in uplifting the quality of education in Sabah, Yayasan Sabah Group continues to provide financial assistance to needy students, especially in rural areas.
