Brighton manager Graham Potter was full of praise for Tariq Lamptey after Monday's 3-1 loss to Chelsea.
The 19-year-old right-back joined Albion from Chelsea in January.
And Potter was impressed with the Englishman's performance against his former side at the AMEX.
"Tariq put in a very good performance," Potter said after the game. "He's a fantastic boy – he's got some excellent attributes and he can affect the game.
"He's only 19 and he has still got a lot to learn but his feet are really on the ground and he wants to do better – he's great to work with."
