Napoli midfielder Allan has been filmed arriving on Merseyside for a medical with Everton.
The 29-year-old has been a long-term target for Carlo Ancelotti, who managed him at the Sao Paolo.
The move ends a five-year spell at Napoli for the Brazilian, who made 212 appearances during that time.
