Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk took aim at Mohamed Salah's critics after victory over Leeds United.
Van Dijk scored in the 4-3 win, with Salah's hat-trick dominating the scoreline.
"Well, that's the media," the Dutchman responded to questions about Salah. “You doubt him, we appreciate him. That is clear and that is the most important thing for him. We do not recognise the negativity of the media."
Van Dijk was also asked about his error which led to Patrick Bamford's goal for 2-2.
“It was a situation that can happen," Van Dijk responded. “I'm doing my best and that's what I did at the time.
"Unfortunately we conceded a goal, but I'm not worried about it."
