Brighton boss Graham Potter is weighing up whether to start Adam Lallana today against Manchester United.
Lallana has been recovering from a knock collected in defeat to Chelsea.
Potter revealed: “He was on the bench against Newcastle because he had I would say a turbulent week before.
“He is available and I think we have got to be sensible with his minutes.
“The decision is often whether he helps us at the start or the end of the game. I think he showed his experience at the end of the game against Newcastle.
“He came on and immediately impacted the game.
“He was involved in the third goal and defending the box when he needed to. He is that type of character.
“Of course he wants to play but he wants to help, I would say, just as much."
