KENINGAU: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) Liawan Division said it rejects the appointment of a Nominated Assemblymen from Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) in Sabah.

PBRS Liawan Division Chief Johnny Anthony Kadau said the appointment is not appropriate and not needed to avoid their agenda in the future that can threaten harmony, security and unity in the state.

“We already know that Sabah is very unique, even if there is a mixed marriage, we can still sit together without any sense of prejudice and the family and community relations of the people of Sabah remain good,” he said in a statement.
