Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick has received an internal 'rebuke' after their attempt to prise Callum Hudson-Odoi fell through this week.
Bayern revived their long-term interest in the Chelsea ace ahead of Monday's transfer deadline and held talks about taking the winger on-loan. However, Chelsea's terms proved too difficult for Bayern to meet.
Not helping matters, reports Tz, was Flick confirming their interest publicly.
"He is one of the greatest talents in this position. He can play on the outside, but also as a ten. That is why it is legitimate for us to deal with him," Flick said 48 hours before Monday's deadline.
Bayern chiefs are convinced Flick's comments contributed to the failure of reaching terms with Chelsea and he's now been rapped over he knuckles for speaking out.
