Sampdoria signing Adrien Silva admits Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes convinced him about the move.
The Leicester City midfielder joined Samp last week and says he spoke with Portugal teammate Fernandes, who played for the Serie A club in the past, about life in Italy.
Silva said, "I talked to Bruno Fernandes when the offer from Sampdoria arrived and I asked him some questions.
"This is a very important aspect when it comes to making such a decision, and he only said good things to me, he helped me a lot in making this choice."
Silva spent last season on-loan with AS Monaco.
