Backlog contributes to high Sabah cases, says Masidi

Kota Kinabalu: The number of Covid-19 cases in Sabah is expected to rise over the next several days due to a large backlog of Covid-19 test samples.

State Local Government and Housing Minister cum Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic) said there are currently 11,000 test samples yet to be cleared by the State Health Department (JKNS). 

“Expect the (cases in the) next few days to be still high because we still have to clear the backlog.
