Sevilla defender Jules Kounde says interest from Manchester City was flattering.
City failed with a bid for the Frenchman over the summer.
Kounde reflected: "It's part of my progression and I'm doing whatever it takes to make it happen.
"I was obviously happy.
"It would have been a good opportunity but I am in Sevilla and I am very happy there."
