Kota Kinabalu: The food basket assistance in the state has now been further expanded by including those registered under the e-kasih system, said Sabah Community Development and People’s Well-being Minister Shahelmey Yahya.

He said the matter was decided by the state government last week to help ease the burden of the group while the country is facing COVID-19 crisis.

“Previously, the food basket assistance was given to residents in areas placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order and families undergoing quarantine in areas under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO),” he said.
