The Athletic reports United are ready to offer €48m to Braga for Carmo.
The 21 year-old has attracted as many as ten enquiries from interested clubs across Europe.
But United hope to blow out all rivals with their massive offer, where in some circles it is regarded as EIGHT TIMES greater than Carmo's genuine valuation.
