Search for missing girl called off in Tawau

TAWAU: The search and rescue (SAR) operation for an eight-year-old girl feared drowned off Teck Guan Jetty, Kampung Bergosong, Pulau Sebatik, since last week had been called off on Tuesday.

Tawau Maritime Zone Director Capt Siva Kumar Vengadasalam said the operation to search for Nazwa Telson was ended following no new findings and clues as well as the chance of finding the body was slim.
