Rayzam has no intention of retiring

Kota Kinabalu: Two-time SEA Games 110m hurdles winner Rayzam Shah Wan Sofian said he has no intention to retire in the near future following his decision not to compete in the Malaysia Open Athletics Championship scheduled to be held in December this year.

His absence may have ended the opportunity for him to use the competition as a platform to win a slot to represent the country in the Tokyo Olympic Games next year.

“It is not really a difficult decision for me to make because I was unable to have any proper training since the MCO (Movement Control Order) was imposed back in March.
