2021 to be year of recovery for Sabah tourism sector

Kota Kinabalu: The year 2021 will be the year of recovery for the State’s tourism sector, said Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Jafry Ariffin (pic).

Jafry said the allocation for the Ministry in 2021 is RM130.36 million – RM113.34 million for supply and RM17.02 million for development.

“To revive the tourism sector, the Ministry through the Sabah Tourism Board (STB) had drafted the Roadmap 2021,” he said in his winding-up speech, at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, here, Tuesday.

“The roadmap is a framework towards the rejuvenation of the tourism industry in Sabah so that it remains sustainable and resilient.
