Tour guides seek help on courses

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Native Registered Tourist Guide Association (SNRTGA) and Sabah Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Satta) members urge both the Federal and State governments to help address the failure to renew permits/licences following the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Both claimed members were unable to renew their permits because of the implementation of the movement restrictions by the authorities since March.

SNRTGA ex-president George Rejos said one of the major contributing factors was financial constraints after losing their (tour guides) jobs.
