Beaufort folks want stagnant water along stretch solved

BEAUFORT: The local authorities here have been urged to address the pool of stagnant water at the entry and exit point near the Sentral Beaufort roundabout.

A motorist, Mohammad Fahmi said it is only right for the authorities to deal with the matter and facilitate road users plying the route, adding that the stagnant water is due to the lack of irrigation system to drain out the water. 

 He is disappointed because the water is always there and suggested that relevant authorities build a drainage system to allow the stagnant water to flow out properly.
