Strategy places Sabah’s security under control

Kota Kinabalu: A comprehensive strategy involving all Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) agencies succeeded in placing Sabah’s security at a controlled level, said Fifth Infantry Division Commander, Major General Datuk Muhammad Hafizuddeain Jantan

Apart from the Army (TD) pioneered by Fifth Division, he said, the role of ATM is also played by the Eastern Fleet Command Headquarters and the Region Two Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) based in the Federal Territory of Labuan.

“In general, the security situation in Sabah is still under control and we have a comprehensive strategy or mechanism involving all agencies.

“On the part of ATM, we have a role played by the East Fleet government in guarding the waters of Sabah, the Air Force by the Region Two RMAF.
