Kota Kinabalu: Nominated Assemblyman Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee (pic) proposed that a Special Inter-departmental Committee be set up to address street children issues in Sabah, particularly in the State Capital. While thanking the government for the RM33.63 million allocation to City Hall, he hoped the issue of street children can be addressed. “Based on my personal survey, there are an estimated 2,000 street children in Kota Kinabalu alone,” he said.
