Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal can't see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being sacked anytime soon.
Van Gaal was infamously dumped by United just a day after winning the FA Cup.
He told Ziggo Sport: "He also had moments last year when he was not in good shape, but he is a former player. That makes a difference. I don't think they will fire him that soon. They also only fired me after a good season, so they have no plans to fire Solskjaer. Despite what is in the media.
“They have made good purchases, especially (Bruno) Fernandes. He has been very decisive, he scores goals and assists."
“The game type is of a counter team, Solskjaer always adapts to the opponent and plays with different systems," Van Gaal analyses. “The question is whether he trains for it, because sometimes it is not carried out properly. That is usually the reason.
"It is less due to the qualities in the player group, because (Mason) Greenwood is a very fast boy and shoots easily with left and right. (Anthony) Martial and (Marcus) Rashford do the same, they are suitable for a counter team. You could say that Solskjaer brings out the qualities in his own team."
