Bung is looking to revamp Safa

Kota Kinabalu: Newly appointed Sabah Football Association (Safa) acting President Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin (pic) said his immediate task is to revamp the state body in a statement released by him on Thursday.

The Sabah Deputy Chief Minister cum Works Minister who was appointed on Monday said restructure exercise would be carried out in line with his efforts to develop football in the state.

 “As acting President of Safa, restructuring is necessary and it is my duty to ensure that the parent body will continue to be respected and able to produce results in the development of football not only in Sabah but also throughout the country,” he said.

The Kinabatangan MP also said there is a need to strengthen Safa management through the inputs of experienced individuals who can contribute something for the development of football.
