Military personnel’s extraordinary experience at Tawau field hosp

TAWAU: The military personnel involved in the mission at ATM Military Field Hospital in Tawau since Oct 20 last year described their involvement as extraordinary experiences.   

Warrant Officer I, Rafail Dapit, 42, from the Kota Kinabalu ATM Hospital, said his experience working in the mission is the highlight of his 20 years in the service. 

“This is the first time the military field hospital is positioned in a hall and not in a camp like previously,” he said, adding he was happy and thankful because they can work well with the civilian staff.

“It is a wonderful experience because I can work alongside those civilian staff. In the ATM, we work under strict conditions but with the Health Ministry (KKM) we have to lower our voice a bit,” he said.
