VfL Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schafer admits they're eager to keep hold of Wout Weghorst.
The Dutchman has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham ahead of this month's transfer window.
Schafer said, "Wout also knows that he plays an important role with us and has become a face.
"I think that he can also be successful with us."
Weghorst has a deal with VfL until 2023.
