Al Sadd star Santi Cazorla has had his say on Mesut Ozil's departure from Arsenal.
Cazorla played with Ozil at the Gunners and has followed his former teammate's imminent move to Fenerbahce.
He told AS: "Yes, he has always held me in high regard, I have sent him a message to wish him luck at Fenerbahce. Mesut is a spectacular footballer, different, with an exquisite left foot. We have shared a lot together and we have a great friendship, it is very easy to get along with him on the pitch. We have really enjoyed playing together."
Cazorla also said, "You have to respect the club's decisions, when you don't know the reasons for what happened you can't give your opinion.
"They are things that they will know how they have happened and in the end the best possible decision has been made for both parties."
