Matunggong roads, bridges need repair

KUDAT: Several damaged roads and bridges in the Matunggong state seat need immediate repair to ensure the safety of villagers, said Assemblywoman Datuk Julita Majungki. 

She said this after a working visit to several mukims in the constituency where she noticed several roads, such as in Kg Bonsiku in Mukim Sikuati Dualog, which were in poor condition.

“The bridge in the village is also unsafe for large vehicles to pass through,” she said, and urged the relevant authorities to look into the matter seriously.

“I hope the authorities concerned will act swiftly before any untoward incident happens,” she said in a statement, Sunday.
