Significant increase in submissions for China Sabah Short Film Competition

Kota Kinabalu: The third edition of the China Sabah Short Film Competition garnered much support and awareness in Sabah this year with significant increase in the number and quality of submissions. 

Gold went to Chin Shuk Wei with “Together in the Fight against Covid-19”, Silver went to Lee Chun Hao with “Connection” and Bronze went to Ho Yie Min with “Taste of Unity”.

Best Editing Award went to Li Mingxue with “My Best Sabahan Friend” and Most Creative Award went to Teo Jinn Jiun with “Us”.

The competition, organised by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Kota Kinabalu in collaboration with Kota Kinabalu Journalists Association (KKJA), brought out the best in filmmakers, who highlighted the enduring friendship among China and Sabah and preservation of Chinese cultures through their video shooting techniques and editing skills.
