Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce admits they're sweating on Jamaal Lascelles' hamstring scare.
Bruce's joy at Newcastle's first win in 12 games was dampened by captain Jamaal Lascelles limping off against Everton and facing several weeks on the sidelines.
"What we have found is the lads who struggled with Covid, it has left them fatigued and causes muscular problems," said Bruce.
"It looks as though Jamal will miss a few weeks so we are threadbare in that position (centre-half).
"It will be a busy 48 hours at the end of the window for some clubs. I hope we can do one or two things."
