Arsenal defender David Luiz could be about to earn a new contract.
The Brazilian has been much improved in recent weeks for the Gunners in central defence.
And according to The Independent, 33-year-old Luiz could be set to sign a one year contract extension.
Even if Luiz is not first choice next season, the club believes he will have an important role to play.
Luiz is likely to have no qualms about renewing with the club for next term.
After joining from local rivals Chelsea in 2019, Luiz helped Arsenal beat his former club in the FA Cup final last season.
