Real Madrid are tracking SC Braga defender David Carmo.

AS says Real scouts have tracked Carmo this season and submitted glowing reports to football directors.

Should Real firm up their interest, they will hold an advantage on rivals as the president of Braga, Antonio Salvador, boasts of having a very good relationship with Florentino Pérez, his counterpart at Real.

It's also claimed Liverpool failed with a deadline day move for Carmo last month.

Braga wanted €4m for the transfer with a mandatory purchase option in the summer of €25m and Liverpool only made an offer of €20m.

Carmo has a contract to 2025 and a unilateral buyout clause of €40m.
