Tottenham hero Jermaine Jenas is adamant the players are behind manager Jose Mourinho after last night's defeat to Chelsea.

The north London club fell to their third consecutive league defeat on Thursday night as city rivals Chelsea ran out 1-0 winners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium thanks to Jorginho's first-half penalty.

Former Spurs midfielder Jenas told BT Sport on Thursday night: "I think he (Mourinho) can turn it around, it depends on how the players respond.

"Players run dressing rooms, players run football clubs in some points. At the minute we are a seeing a despondent team but I'm seeing enough of a reaction to know that Jose still has them. As long as he still has them, then he stays.

"I want to see a better brand of football but Spurs fans want to see a trophy."
