Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has held talks with Maurizio Sarri about a sensational return.
RAI says De Laurentiis plans to replace coach Rino Gattuso at the end of the season and has already made contact with Sarri about a second spell with the Azzurri. Sarri has been available since his sacking by Juventus last summer.
And should Sarri return to Napoli, he could be followed by Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
The player's agent Joao Santo revealed: "Sarri at Napoli with Jorginho is a great idea.
“He is still under contract with Chelsea for two and a half years. Looking at football then it is certainly a possibility. We'll have to see how De Laurentiis feels about it. Jorginho loves the city of Naples very much. Moreover, Sarri is an important trainer for him, among whom he has been able to show himself at the highest level."
